Position: Social Media Coordinator

The Social Media Coordinator will be tasked with managing social media elements to foster interaction, education, engagement and discussion regarding mental health awareness, child advocacy, and educational support. The Social Media Coordinator will manage and enhance our social media efforts on Facebook, Twitter, blogs and other social media channels. Social media is always changing, and the Social Media Coordinator will need to fluently know the tools of today, but also be apprised of the evolving social media landscape and be a leader in the organization for social media into the future. The ideal candidate is a high-energy, social media maven and blogger with the desire to coordinate and expand our presence through various channels. The Social Media Coordinator will oversee and direct the tasks of content managers and will report directly to the director of Westgate Charities, Inc.

We are seeking highly motivated team-oriented Content Managers to develop and maintain an online presence that falls in line with our stated mission.  We also seek to promote increased awareness and positive dialogue on issues concerning mental health with a focus on child advocacy and educational support.   Content Managers will work under the supervision of the Media Coordinator. The ideal candidate is a proficient in online data retrieval and possesses strong written communication skills, blogging experience is a plus but not a requirement.
